Alma Irene (King) Fouts, Xenia, OH age 84, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016, at her residence. She was born Jan 25, 1931 in Center Twp., Wayne Co., IN to parents, Kermit Harvey and Pansie Mondaine (Plummer) King.  On Feb. 5, 1953 she married Lawrence "Wayne" Fouts, who died Sept. 21, 2011. Alma and Wayne lived in Norfolk, VA and the Great Lakes area as a young couple while Wayne was stationed in the U.S. Navy.  She is a 1949 graduate Centerville HS (Indiana) and Elkhart Business University, Elkhart, IN.  She was a dental assistant in Richmond, IN; a secretary at Abbott Laboratories, North Chicago, IL; bookkeeper at a building supply in Norfolk, VA; and as a cook in the Xenia, OH City Schools.  Alma and Wayne moved to Xenia, OH in 1965 and she lived most of her years being a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors are, son Richard Jay Fouts (Barb), of Dayton, OH his children, Richard C. Fouts (Amy), their children Austin, Haley, Taylor Ann; Frank Fouts (Melissa), their children Frankie, Bailey Mae; Rosemary Crystal Gilmore (Jason) and their son Gideon; Jaime (Ryan) Rankin, and their daughter, Ryleigh of Orlando, FL; daughter Cindy Oakley (Greg) Xenia, OH and their children Benjamin L Oakley (Leslie) of Kalamazoo, MI and their son Sylas; and Sara E. Smyth (Nate) of Nashville, TN and their children Kieran and Quinn. Also survived by her sisters Olive Ann Baker, Economy, IN; Judy Hamm, Richmond, IN.; sister in-laws Eileen King and Peggy King of Cambridge City, IN.   Alma was proceeded in death by her husband Wayne, brothers, Walter and Tom King and sister, Kay Smith, as well as many brothers and sisters in law on her husband's side of the family. Relatives and friends may call at Mills Funeral Home, Centerville, IN, from 2-3pm, Tuesday, January 5, with service following at 3pm, Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Centerville, IN.
