Angela Sue (Hicks) George, 78, of Xenia, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026, at Kettering Medical Center. She was born April 15, 1948, in Jamestown, Ohio, the daughter of Hargis and Berta Richardson Hicks. She was a 1966 graduate of Xenia High School, a graduate of Wright State University, and was as a teacher with Xenia Community Schools for 30 years. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald L. George, a daughter, Tracy L. George (Charles Madascy), a sister, Omalee (Ernie) Agnor, two brothers-in-law, Glenn W. George, Jr., and James Kimley, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Bryan K. George, and by a sister-in-law, Cheryl Kimley. Angela will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 10am, Friday, April 24, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St. Xenia. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bridges of Hope, 1087 W.
