Audrey (Gibson) Boerkoel, 89, of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Xenia, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She was born April 21, 1934, in Springfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of Harold LeRoy and Violet Maher Gibson. She was a secretary/bookkeeper at Wickline's Florist for over 40 years. She is survived by two daughters, Christy Blanton, Melbourne, FL, and Cindy (Bill) George, Xenia, a son, Tom (Carol) Calvert, Huntsville, Alabama, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Truman Boerkoel, on March 5, 2001, and by a son-in-law, Buck Blanton. Audrey will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held by the family in Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Xenia Community Schools Foundation  in her memory.
