Barbara L.  Swisshelm, 81, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at her residence. She was born January 23, 1935, in Lafayette, Indiana, the daughter of Harry and Mary Ruth Baer Larson. She retired from Antioch College and Community Physicians, Yellow Springs. She is survived by a son, Terry (Donna) Swisshelm, Xenia, grandchildren, Darren (Deana) Reed and Andrew (Danielle) Swisshelm, and by two great-grandchildren, Graysen Reed and Henley Reed, all of Jamestown, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by the father of her son, Donald E. Swisshelm. Services will be held at 11am, Monday, June 6, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 9:30am Monday, until service time at the funeral home.  Burial will be in New Antioch Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Xenia Adult Recreation and Service Center (XARSC), 130 E. Church St., Xenia, OH, 45385, in her memory.
