Betty L. (Kelly) Drake, 97, of Xenia, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Shawnee Estates. She was born April 14, 1928, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Roy C. and Christine R. Dale Kelly. She attended Xenia schools and was a graduate of Springfield High School. She retired as a secretary and bookkeeper with the Xenia Nazarene Christian School. She was a member of Xenia Nazarene Church, where she served on the church board, as a Sunday school teacher, and as a long-time greeter. She is survived by two daughters, Vicki A. (John) Rickey, and Tamara S. (Michael) Reed, a son, William F. (Joyce) Drake, Jr., all of Xenia, 10 grandchildren, Keel Stauffacher, and Jason Drake, Rick Chiavichien, Shawn (Tracey) Rickey, Eric (Kim) Rickey, Beth (Mike) Wilson, Melissa (Jason) Long, Chris (Lacey) Reed, Bradley (Jordan) Reed, and Heather (Brandon) Daum, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandsons, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William F. "Bill" Drake, on June 14, 2018, a brother, Roy C. Kelly, Jr., and by a sister, Ruth Nestor. Betty enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking, reading, word search and puzzles. Spending time with her family was what she loved the most. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, August 6, at Xenia Nazarene Church.  Visitation will be held from 10am Wednesday until service time. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
