Betty J. Price, 90, of Worthington, formerly of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Sunrise of Worthington. She was born November 11, 1925, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of George and Sarah Walker Davis. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, lived in Xenia for over 40 years, and was a volunteer with the Xenia FISH Pantry.  She was a 1943 graduate of Portsmouth High School, and attended Kent State University and the University of West Virginia.  She sold real estate for Century 21 (Cliff Williams Inc. Realtor) and worked in membership services at the Miami Valley AAA where she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James Davis, and by a sister-in-law, Betty Re Davis. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth (Jeff) Thomas, Columbus, Susan (Ray) VanBoven, Westerville, grandchildren, Samuel Thomas, Raymond VanBoven, and Elizabeth VanBoven, by a nephew, Phil (Sue) Davis, and niece, Kim (Donny) Moritz, a favorite cousin, William Woodrum, and by many close friends. Betty walked 3 miles every morning in Amlin Heights for years with her close friend, Pat Thompson who passed away in 2010. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, friend that enriched lives with personality and infectious laughter. She leaves behind a legacy of Christian faith to all who were touched by her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 11am, Monday, May 23, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Xenia, with Rev. Kelley W. Shin officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Monday, until service time.  Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
