Betty C. Simpson, 88, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born August 23, 1926, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Gertrude Kettring Conklin. She was a former member of the Villages Golf League, Lady Lake, Florida. She is survived by two sons, James R. (Pamela) Simpson, Xenia, and Joel Simpson, San Marcos, TX, three grandchildren, Angela Schindler and John Schindler, of Tennessee, and Holly Simpson, Dayton, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William H. Simpson, a daughter, Diane Schindler, a sister, Marline Kohler, and by a brother, Charles Conklin. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH, 45420, in her memory.
