Betty O. Sweeney, age 91, of Xenia, passed away November 29, 2018, at Hospitality Center in Xenia. She was born March 25, 1927, in Portsmouth, Ohio to James and Bess (Jordan) Boggs. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl; parents; brothers, Albert, Burlin and Jackie; and by her sisters, Ruth, Geneva, and Gloria. Betty is survived by her daughter, Veda (Rick) Eckhart of Dayton, son, Mickey (Cindy) Sweeney of Cedarville, and by three grandchildren, Lisa (Michael) Harris, Kyle (Elise) Sweeney, and Allison Sweeney. Betty and her husband traveled extensively during his 21 years in the Army. She was an avid collector and loved to display the items throughout her home. Family and Home was her passion and delight. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
