Beverly Jane Koogler of Stewartsville, NJ and formerly of Xenia and Jamestown, Ohio, where she lived for most of her life, returned home to be with our Lord on the morning of Monday April 10, 2017.  She was born on July 31, 1941 in Xenia to Willard and Betty Brickel.  She faithfully served the Xenia School District as a teacher at Cox Elementary School for more than 25 years.

Dear sister to Keith Brickel of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Dear Mother of Bettina and her husband Edward Socci of Stewartsville, NJ and of Derek Bussey and his wife Karen of Smith's Grove, KY.  Loving grandmother to Dominic, John, Joseph and Nicholas Socci and Kaleb, Erica and Brock Bussey.

Beverly will be remembered for her love of teaching and for her strong Quaker faith.  She enjoyed playing piano and spending time with her family and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Lynn Stoneburner.

Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Beverly's life at 11am, Monday, April 17, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 North Detroit Street, Xenia.  Visitation will be held from 10-11am Monday. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Xenia Friends Church.
