Billy Lee "Bill" Dumbauld, 92, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Soin Medical Center. He was born March 20, 1931, in Celina, Ohio, the son of Ashley and Inez Kincaid Dumbauld. He was 1954 graduate of Ohio Northern University and was a veteran of the United States Army. In 1967, he and his wife Betty opened Dumbauld Studio in Xenia, which was in business for over 40 years. The studio offered photographic portraits as well as photo restoration. He was a member of the Professional Photographer Association of America, and was instrumental in starting the Professional Photographers of Southwestern Ohio (PPSO). He is survived by his wife, Betty Dumbauld, whom he married, January 8, 1955, two sons, Ian (Kimberly) Dumbauld and Jason (Anne) Dumbauld, three grandchildren, Zack, Adam, and Laine, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by two sisters, Janet Cron and Judy Waterman. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
