Blanche E. Funk, 93, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023, at her residence. She was born September 20, 1929, in La Follette, Tennessee, the daughter of John R. and Nila E. Peavly Smith. She is survived by a daughter, Debra Koger, Xenia, a grandson, Brian J. Stafford, Hillsboro, a sister, Brenda (Glenn) McGhee, Germantown, two nephews, David McGhee, Miamisburg, and Bradley McGhee, Wisconsin, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Joe Wilson, in 1974, her second husband of 34 years, Stanley E. Funk, on August 6, 2017, a sister, Mildred Smith, and by three brothers, Bill Smith, Earl Smith, and Bob Smith. Blanche will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
