Carla Anderson, 86, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at her residence. She was born September 14, 1938, in Rotterdam, Holland, the daughter of Jacob and Anna Carolina Schuddeboom. She was a member of Xenia United Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her children, Mark (Kathy) Vandenberg and Karen (Patrick) Wood, step-children, Kelly (Scott) Sacre, Eric (Laura) Anderson, and Karen (Todd) Nolen, grandchildren, Evonne, Nicholas, Marieke, Courtney, Mallory, Chloe, Jacob, Grace, Darby, Cameron, and Ryleigh, three great-grandchildren, a sister, Karen Schuddeboom, several nieces, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, Donald C. Anderson. In her youth, Carla was an avid and accomplished tennis player. She was also a champion bridge player and a social golfer. Carla also loved puzzling and playing yahtzee with family members. Carla will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Carla's life will be held at 11am, June 14th, at Xenia United Presbyterian Church, 343 W. Ankeney Mill Rd., Xenia.
