Carol Rae Wright, 79, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Hospitality Home East. She was born March 8, 1938, in Waynesburg, PA, the daughter of Alfred and Irene Taylor Phillips. She is survived by her husband, John T. Wright, Jr., whom she married December 19, 1985, two daughters, Teresa Laws, Xenia, and Rowena (Steve) Hacket, Columbia, SC, a step-son, John T. (Tina) Wright, III, Albemarle, NC, a granddaughter, Jamie Lee Haine, Kettering, and a step-grandson, Kyle Wright, Buffalo, NY, a great-granddaughter, Jacqueline Haine, a sister, Norma Jean King, Springfield, a step-mother, Madelyn Phillips, and half-brother, James (Laura) Phillips, of Cummings, GA, and by many close family and friends. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Richard Lynch and Robert Thacker, her son, Randy E. Lynch, and by a grandson, Joshua C. Hackett.  Services were held at 10am, Monday, July 24, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. Ronald Swiger officiating. Visitation was held from 6-8pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial was in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, New Carlisle. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Diabetes Dayton, 2555 S.
