Charlene A. Blocher, 85, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at her residence. She was born September 6, 1928, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of J. M. and Margaret McCarty Coffman. She is survived by a daughter, Sue (Joe) Orihood, two sons, John (Tina) Blocher and Todd (Diana) Blocher, all of Xenia, four grandchildren, Jacob (Katie) Blocher, Anna Blocher, Kyle Blocher, and Shelby Blocher, two great-grandchildren, Olivia Dickens and Eli Dickens, two sisters, Orm Bone, Tipp City, and Regina Chard, Beavercreek, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer Blocher, on March 7, 1992, and by a brother, Kenneth Coffman. Charlene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held at 10am, Saturday, May 31, at Clifton Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley, 46 N.
