Charlotte E. Whitacre, 95, of Xenia, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Traditions of Beavercreek. She was born September 2, 1926, in Beavercreek, Ohio, the daughter of Roy M. and Rhea H. Black Coy. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and retired from WPAFB. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol Jean (David) Wall, Williamsburg, VA, three sons and daughters-in-law, John Douglas (Cathy) Whitacre, Beavercreek, Michael D. Whitacre, Morrisville, NC, and Thomas A. (Marla) Whitacre, Xenia, seven grandchildren, Shawn (Jennifer) Whitacre, Jeremy (Robin) Whitacre, Scott (Heather) Whitacre, Brad (Morgaine) Whitacre, Meredith Whitacre (fiancé, Hunter Dalby), Erin (Jimmy) Faxon, and Ryan Wall, thirteen great-grandchildren, Gavin Whitacre, Abigail Whitacre, Jackson Whitacre, Brandon Whitacre, Olivia Whitacre, Gabriel Whitacre, Ella Rose Whitacre, Charlotte Whitacre, Brendan Whitacre, Jonathan Whitacre, Kennedy Wall, Adelaide Wall, and Daisy Jo Wall, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John C. Whitacre, on January 28, 2006, by a granddaughter, Tara Whitacre, a great-granddaughter, Hailee Elizabeth Day, and by two brothers, Donald Coy and Carroll L. Coy. Charlotte will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 11am, Friday, August 26, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Xenia. Visitation will be held from 9:30am Friday until service time. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1120 S.
