Christy Jaye (Strayer) Britt, 62, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at her residence. She was born September 10, 1959, in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, the daughter of Jay Markwood and Barbara Jane "Jill" Moon Strayer. She is survived by a close companion, Ann Delewese, her father and step-mother, Jay (Rebecca Jane) Strayer, all of Xenia, an uncle, Marvin Barrett, Jamestown, cousins, Shane (Geia) Barrett, Fairborn, Derek (Jennifer) Barrett, Centerville, and Erin (Paul) Taynor, Kettering, and by many close friends. Christy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private graveside services will be held by the family in New Maple Grove Cemetery, Port William.
