Obituary

Clyde Vinson Whitt, 81, of Xenia, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Friday evening, May 27, 2011. He was born November 22, 1929, in Bruin, Kentucky, the son of Othie and Dove (Robinson) Whitt. He was a member of Liberty Worship Center, Xenia. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Ridgeway) Whitt, two daughters and sons-in-law, Anita (Robert) Bedwell, Florida, and Sandy (Bob) Moles, Xenia, and two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mark (Mariann) Whitt, Xenia, Cody Whitt, Bruin, KY, three grandchildren, Justin DeVoe, Seattle, WA, Sophie Whitt, Springfield, and Nathan Whitt, Xenia, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Catherine Wadell, Sandy Hook, KY, and Sue (Charles) Johnson, Grayson, KY, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Don (Dorothy) Whitt, Sandy Hook, KY, and Jim Whitt, Grayson, KY, numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Mary Mauck, Nanie Myrtle Salyers, Dixie Elam, and Julie Smith, and by two brothers, George Whitt and Woody Whitt. Vinson most of all loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed playing a round of golf with his son and listening to blue grass music.Vinson delighted in being a handyman'. Vinson will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held at 10am, Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Liberty Worship Center, 1180 Upper Bellbrook Rd., Xenia, with Rev. Gene Martin officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Tuesday, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville.
