Connie S. (Johnson) McCoy-Grow, 79 , of Clifton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital South. She was born September 24, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer and Mary Kelchner Johnson. She was a 1964 graduate of Patterson Co-op, and attended the Xenia First Assembly of God, and Xenia Nazarene Church. She enjoyed many trips over the years with family and friends to Lake Ann, near Traverse City, Michigan. She retired from Reichley Insurance Agency and Nicholls & Guckian CPA. She is survived by the father of her three sons, Ronald Douglas Jones, her sons, Tim (Beth) Jones, Todd Jones and Troy (Tara) Jones, step-sons, John (Cindy) McCoy, and Sam (Amber) McCoy, fourteen grandchildren, Ian (Brittany) Jones, Andrew Jones, Cassie Jones, Kiersten Jones, Arianna Jones, Molly (Lane) Hoover, Troy Jones Jr., Sophie Jones, Ryan (Kaitlyn) McCoy, Alex (Molly) McCoy, Adam (Melissa) McCoy, Cameron (Kyla) McCoy, Colin McCoy and Madison McCoy, two brothers, Gary (Debbie) Johnson, and Douglas Johnson, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her second husband, Jerry W. McCoy, her third husband, Bruce Grow, sister Barbara Koogler, nephews Steven Johnson and Jeremy Johnson. One of the highlights of Connie's life was meeting her pen-pal from England (both age of 12) on a trip to England as adults, and inviting the pen-pal back to her home in America. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with all of her grandchildren. Connie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, April 8, in Spring Valley Cemetery, with Rev. Ronald Swiger officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gideon's International, Greene County Gideon Camp, P.O. Box 674, Xenia, OH, 45385. Condolences may be made to the family at www.NeeldFuneralHome.com.
