Obituary

David W. Cox, 84, of Lebanon, formerly of Xenia, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati. He was born March 6, 1930, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Carl M. and Mildred Miesse Cox. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was the former owner of Davco Pattern and was an active member of St. Brigid Church. He is survived by four daughters, Patricia Ann Cox, Susan Galmin, and Carol Jean Cox (Martin), all of Florida, and Denise Cooney, Arizona, two sons, David D. Cox, Oregonia, and John Joseph Cox (Maria), Las Vegas, NV, seven grandchildren, Anthony Patrick Cox, Aaron Vincent Stearns, Joshua David Kingsolver, Alex Cooper, Daman Galmin, Danielle Cox, and Alexis Galmin, three great-grandchildren, Zoe Kingsolver, Michael Stearns, and Gary Stearns, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carol Jean Barrett Cox on May 28, 1988, by two sisters, and by two grandchildren, Dustin Joseph Simons, and Michael Jeremy Cox. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Saturday, April 18, at St. Brigid Cemetery, Xenia. There will be no visitation.
