Dixie Lee Shelley, 77, of Xenia, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024, at her residence. She was born May 12, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Grover Cleveland Jackson and Dorothy Mary Janetta Brown Camp. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence P. "Larry" Shelley, whom she married, April 17, 1965, two sons, Russell (Karen) Shelley, and Todd Shelley, all of Xenia, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a brother, Eddie Camp, of Tennessee, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law, Felicia Shelley, a grandson, and by three sisters, Pamela Jane Camp, Rosemary Whitmarsh, and Martha Camden. Dixie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held from 530-730pm, Tuesday, March 5, at the First Church of Christ, 441 Ledbetter Rd.
