Dolly Adkins, 75, of Xenia, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, October 23, 2016, at the home of her daughter-in-law, Paula J. Adkins. She was born November 25, 1940, in West Hamlin, West Virginia, to the late Rev. Robert and Velva Richardson Vance. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Asa J. Adkins, her brothers Lloyd Vance, Lawson Vance, Ward Vance, and Cleve Vance, sisters, Essie Watts, Bonnie Workman, and Jenny Workman. She is survived by her four sons, Tom (Paula M.), James (Hollie), Ron (Paula J.), and Bob (Diane), seven grandchildren, Valerie Cano, Ryon Adkins, Jessica Adkins, Asa Adkins, Trisha Adkins, Lizzie Adkins, and Ashley Adkins, two great-grandchildren, Ally and Levi, brothers, Moses Vance, and Clifford Vance, and sisters, Effie Mills and Mayme Wiley all of Harts, W. VA, by many nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. Dolly was a faithful member of the Southside Church of God for many years. Her favorite hobbies included singing gospel bluegrass music and quilting. Services will be held at 10am, Thursday, October 27, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. Joe Sweet officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Silvercreek Township Cemetery, Jamestown. Condolences may be made to the family at
