Obituary

Don G. Wolf, 90, formerly of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016, at Cape May Retirement Village, Wilmington. He was born September 23, 1926, in Beavercreek Township, Ohio, the son of Grover C. and Ruth Penewit Wolf. He was a former member of Jamestown United Methodist Church, a member of Melvin United Methodist Church, Melvin, OH, Jamestown Masonic Lodge, # 352, and Grange. He was a lifelong Greene County Farmer, and retired from the Beavercreek Township Road Department. He is survived by four sons, Timothy G. (Carolyn) Wolf, and Ted D. (Peggy) Wolf, all of Xenia, Thomas G. (Lora) Wolf, Sabina, and Tyler D. (Kim) Wolf, West Milton, ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two sisters, June Cosler, Wilmington, and Roberta Young, South Vienna, by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Emma Margaret (Hare) Wolf on April 25, 2002, a granddaughter, Jessica Wolf, a sister, Amy Wolf, and by four brothers, Robert Wolf, James Wolf, Fred Wolf, and Kent Wolf. Services will be held at 10am, Monday, November 14, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Pastor Bill Merriman officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Byron Cemetery, Fairborn.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3 International Dr., Suite 200, Rye Brook, NY, 10573, in his memory.
