Donald LeRoy Rumbaugh, 82, of Xenia, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at Xenia Health and Rehab. He was born December 5, 1938, in Xenia, Ohio, the son of Melvin and Mary Benson Rumbaugh. He was a graduate of Xenia High School, a veteran of the United States Army, serving in West Germany, and retired as a deputy with the Greene County Sheriff's Department. He is survived by a sister, Frances (Richard) Hilderbrandt, Xenia, and by several nieces and a nephew, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Louise Stidham Rumbaugh and Mary Mills Rumbaugh, and by a brother, Thomas Rumbaugh. Don will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, September 15, at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. There will be no visitation.
