Obituary

Dorothy Ann Hornick, 81, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Dayspring of Fairborn. She was born March 7, 1935, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Emmett and Annabelle Ringer Touhey.  She was a member of St. Brigid Church. She is survived by two daughters, Denise (John) Adams, Xenia, and Lori (Chris) Horsley, Wilmington, two sons, Ty (Karen) Hornick, Jamestown, and Todd Hornick, Columbus, by 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Carolyn Little, Centerville, and Kathy (Gary) Allen, Xenia, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William M. Hornick, on November 23, 1999, an infant daughter, Deborah Lynn Hornick, and by two brothers, Frank Touhey and John Touhey. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 11am Friday, July 8, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. John Krumm officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Friday, until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
