Dorothy Mae McLaughlin, 83, of Xenia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Soin Medical Center. She was born June 11, 1939, in Conneaut, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Cora Bullard Pyle. She is survived by her husband, Ralph McLaughlin, whom she married,  February 14, 2007, two daughters, Renee Hawes, Pennsylvania, and Tanya (Matthew) Funk, Xenia, two sons, Richard Hawes, Xenia, and Timothy (Kelly) Hawes, North Carolina, five grandchildren, Tyler Hawes, Sarah Funk, Elijah Funk, Josiah Funk and Ian Funk, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Howard Hawes, on December 13, 2003, and by two brothers, William Pyle and Gary Pyle. Dorothy truly loved the Lord and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at AHOP in Xenia, Ohio.
