Eileen June Davis Beason, 89, of Xenia, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born November 4, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Edward James and Esta McKenzie Davis. She spent her childhood in Garden City, Michigan and on farms across Ohio. Her family moved to Xenia in 1951, where she graduated from Central High School in 1952. She was employed as a systems analyst with General Motors and later EDS until her retirement in 1995. In retirement, she traveled the globe, with trips taking her to nearly every state and to 5 continents. Eileen was a joy to have in your life, she was loving, kind and gave selflessly to her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Beason, Barbara (Jeff) Fender and Beverly (Les) Mason, grandchildren, Audrey Fender (Adam), Evan (Christy) Mason, and Hannah Fender (Chase), great-grandchildren, Lydia and Eli, a sister, Janet (Tom) Merriman, a brother, Edward "Jim" (Cheryl) Davis, Jr., by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a sister, Elizabeth Mulbarger. Eileen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held by the family in Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, we ask if you would consider supporting one of the following charities she supported.
