Elaine (Bogard) Shaw, 79, formerly of Xenia, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020, at Wooded Glen of Springfield. She was born February 14, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Barbara Gudas Bogard. She formerly attended Xenia Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Raymond E. Wagner, on March 20, 1975, her second husband, Elbert Leonard Shaw, on February 5, 1987, and by a sister, Barbara Ann Finney, on July 2, 2017. She is survived by a brother, Harry Ronald Bogard, Xenia, a brother-in-law, Arthur Finney, Springfield, by a niece, Tammy (Kent) Boswell-Thomas, a nephew, Todd (Diane) Finney, by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, and by many close friends. Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, March 11, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel, New Carlisle. Visitation will be held from 10am Wednesday until service time in the chapel. Burial will follow services.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 31 W. Whipp Rd., Dayton, OH, 45459, in her memory.
