Elwood C. Fawcett, 85, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. He was born August 17, 1939, in Cedarville, Ohio, the son of LeRoy and Ida Howell Fawcett. He is survived by a sister, Norma (Michael) Oakley, Xenia, by several cousins, nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.Elwood loved watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Reds, and watching westerns on television. He enjoyed Bingo, bowling, and was the unofficial greeter for many years at the Xenia Kmart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially those who worked with him at Greene, Inc, and took trips with him through Greene County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Private services will be held by the family in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity in his memory.
