Emily (Horen) Middleton, 83 went home to her Lord on Friday, January 11, 2019, from her home in Xenia. She was born July 22, 1935 to Clarence (Pete) and Olivia (Cost) Horen. Emily married her soulmate, Robert W. Middleton, Sr. on December 4, 1958. She is survived by 3 children Robert W. Middleton, Jr. (Deborah Marshall), Debra Linebaugh (Bruce Linebaugh) of Sabina and Lisa Kay Middleton (The Late David S. Hooker) of Xenia; 6 grandchildren, Mariah Linebaugh of Xenia, Daniel Linebaugh of Jamestown, Douglas Middleton of Xenia, Sarah Adams-Riley of Wilmington, Kaitlin Roberts of Fairborn and Jennifer Middleton, of Xenia; 8 Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert W. Middleton, Sr., on September 1, 2011, 3 children James (1959), Ellen (1960) and Julie Middleton (1966). Emily was a supportive farmer's wife for 53 wonderful years where they raised crops and hogs together. She joined her husband in many Agricultural Organizations such as Pork Producers, Grange, FFA and other organizations such as Old Timers Club and Eleazer United Methodist Church. Emily was also a 60 plus years member of the Aldora Chapter of Eastern Star. She and her beloved husband began wintering in Naples FL and shared many happy and wonderful moments with family and friends.

Services will be held at 10am on Friday January 18 at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit Street, Xenia, with Rev. Jonathan Morris and Lynda Middleton officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8 Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville.
