Erma Pitzer, 89, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. She was born August 27, 1928, in Peebles, Ohio, the daughter of Ernest Caplinger and Ocie Davis. She attended Faith Community United Methodist Church and retired as a supervisor with Ohio Bell. She is survived by her children, Sharon Jane Mitchell, Jamestown, Daava (Terry) Beekman, Kettering, Michael (Janice) Pitzer, Xenia, and Gregory Pitzer, Wilmington, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Ruby Cline, Alpha, and Louise Ensley, Kettering, a brother, Dwight Milburn, Sabina, by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, Harold Pitzer, a son, Cloyd Kenneth Pitzer, by a sister, Daisy Houseman, and by two brothers, Earl Milburn and Archie Milburn. Erma will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held at 11:30am, Monday, January 22, at the Valley View Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
