Erma Mabel Sprigg, 91, of Xenia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at her residence. She was born June 23, 1925, in Ravenna, Ohio, the daughter of Marion and Lora Weeks Flickinger. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy (Gordin) Chitty, Arcade, NY, Suanne (Dr. Robert R.) Griffith, Debi Geyer, and Jan (Dan) Piatt, all of Xenia, ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, a sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn (Leeland) Green, Sandy Lake, PA, numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clifford Ray "Bud" Sprigg, on February 7, 2011, by two sisters, Gladys Schlaht and Lila Szymczak, and by two brothers, Glenn Flickinger and Charles Flickinger. Erma will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation.
