Obituary

Evanna Kay Turner, 59, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 18, 1954, in Middletown, Ohio, the daughter of Chester and Doris Yancey Bruce Smith. She was employed at the Lebanon Correctional Facility. She is survived by a daughter, Shannon Turner-Coots, Xenia, a son and daughter-in-law, Dusty (Jody) Turner, Xenia, six grandchildren, Melodee, Kayla, Dakota, Sydney, Shelbie, and Gunner, and by three great-grandchildren, Javon, Liana, and Jodee, by two sisters, Jeannie (Roger) Smith, Jamestown, and Trina Dennehy, Xenia, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a sister, Sandra Osborne. Kay will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of life will be held from 4-8pm Friday, May 16, at The Oaks Commons (Greene Oaks Health Center), 1303 White Oak Circle, Xenia.
