F. Ilene Lewis, 86, Xenia, Ohio, peacefully passed away on December 15, 2022. She was born February 14, 1936, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of George and Anna (Taylor) Stertzer.

Ilene graduated from South High School, in Columbus, Ohio, Class of 1954.  Following graduation, she worked as a bank teller until she married her husband, Phil, and they moved to Xenia.  She began a second career in the electronic imaging industry as a printed circuit board assembler.  In semi-retirement, she enjoyed assisting her husband as a property manager in South Florida and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Phillip R. Lewis (2021), and a daughter, Jill.  Ilene is survived by her son Jeffrey P. (Sally) Lewis of Greensboro, North Carolina; son Timothy R. (Jennifer) Lewis of Bellbrook, Ohio, and 4 grandchildren Emily, Allison, Kai, and James.

Ilene enjoyed bird watching, photography, spending time at the beach, listening to piano/instrumental music, and collecting fossils and rocks, but her true passion was spending time with her family.  Ilene was well known for her light-hearted wit and classic sense of humor.
