Geraldine F. Madill, 92, of Xenia, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014, at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born August 3, 1921, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Emil and Estelle Jackman Burris. She was a member of the New Hope Christian Church, Xenia. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jerri Madill (Dr. Tom) Grooms, Xenia, a son and daughter-in-law, William "Bill" (Margot Malje) Madill, Cincinnati, six grandchildren, Jeffrey Madill, Cincinnati, Jennifer (Brian) Cunningham, Milford, Aaron Grooms, Evan Grooms, Ian (April) Grooms, all of Xenia, Sarah (Daniel) Wright, Newark, OH, great-grandchildren, Lindsay Cunningham, Nicholas Cunningham, Abby Cunningham, Quinn Cunningham, Marshall Grooms, Megan Grooms, Brindley Grooms, and Aiden McNamara, a step-great-grandson, Brycen Heim, by several nieces and nephews, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, William Robert Madill. Graveside services will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, May 3, at Crown Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, 11825 Pippin Rd., Cincinnati. There will be no visitation.
