Glenn T. Anderson, 88, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, at his residence. He was born September 23, 1934, in Spring Valley, Ohio, the son of Earl S. and Golda M. LeValley Anderson. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served from 1954-1955, a member of Eleazer United Methodist Church, The Old Timer's Club, and the Greene County Fish and Game. He retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation. He is survived by two daughters, Pam (David) Van Hoose of Wilmington and Tammy Frye of Virginia, five grandchildren, Jason Daniel (Stephanie), Jennifer Wiseman (Steven), John Funk (Christine), Alex Frye (Jennifer), and Ashley Frye, four great-grandchildren, Clayton Wiseman, Maddy Wiseman, Jacob Daniel, and Asher Frye, a sister, Kathleen Taylor, Xenia, a brother, Wendell Anderson, Tennessee, several nieces and nephews, his companion of 19 years Mary Rigsby, Jamestown, and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Donna (Miller) Anderson, on August 19, 1998, two sisters, Miriam Freeman and Lois Turner, and a brother, Ronald Anderson. Glenn loved spending time with his family, going to antique tractor shows, and playing Euchre at the Senior Citizens in Jamestown and Xenia.  He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.  Services will be held at 10am, Monday, October 24 at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Sunday, October 23 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Senior Citizens in Jamestown or Xenia, or the American Cancer Society in his memory.
