Glenn L. Sproat, 79, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born December 31, 1942, in Troy, Ohio, the son of Glenn E. and Virginia Clark Sproat. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Jamestown, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from General Motors and was a licensed pilot.

He is survived by a step-son Matthew (Marra) Austin of Williamsburg, VA, and two step-daughters, Elizabeth Austin (Steve Holsinger) of Columbus, and Christine (Charles) Fannin, of Worthington, five grandchildren, a brother-in-law, William Broerman of Manchester, several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his wife, Joanne Austin-Sproat.   Glenn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 1pm, Friday, May 20, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Jamestown for Glenn and his wife Joanne, with a celebration of life gathering from 2-4pm in the church hall. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
