H. Charlene Faler Wolff, 87, of Xenia, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, November 18, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 21, 1935, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Helen Lensch Ellis. She was a remarkable woman, a loving wife and mother who despite great tribulations, inspired hope, and instill values that will echo for generations. She found immense joy in amassing an eclectic collection of treasures that perfectly capture the style and sense of her era. Charlene was a devout Catholic and active member of St. Brigid Church and retired as a registered nurse. She is survived by her children, Jean Marshall, Jane (Tim) Aronhalt, Julie (Doug) Ayers, Jim (Latisha) Faler, Jerry (Karen) Faler, and John (Aimee) Faler, stepdaughter, Deanna Wolff, a brother Charles (Nellie) Ellis, 23 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and a large extended family and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Kenneth E. Faler, her second husband, Thomas Wolff, a son, Joey Faler,granddaughter, Kyla Ayers and siblings, Harry Gaeke, Mary Maurice, Dorothy Sipe, and Bobby Gaeke. Charlene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday December 5,2023 atSt. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia. Private burial will be held by the family in St. Brigid Cemetery.
