Harold Glenn Jennings, 90, of Dayton, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 17,2024, with his loving wife by his side.
He was born May 10, 1933, in Perry County, Kentucky, the son of Ova and Myrtle Campbell Jennings. He attended Xenia Nazarene Church, and was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War. Harold retired from McCall Printing.
Harold is survived by his wife, Patricia (Blanton) Jennings of 41 years, a son Tim (Barbara) Jennings, of Centerville, daughters, Tammy (Randy) Richardson of Waynesville, Rhonda (Barry) Allen, and Marla (Roger) DeBord, all of Xenia. He had five grandchildren, Kelli (Aric) Noval, of Spring Valley, Justin (Andrea) Richardson of Centerville, Brandon (Kimberly) Richardson of Franklin, Josh (Ashley) Allen of Xenia, and Scott (Erin) Richardson of Cincinnati. He had nine great- grandchildren, Maren, Everly, Cohen, Lucas, Alyssa, Masen, Maverick, Alivia, and Malakai, brother, Jim (Sharon) Jennings of Lewisburg, brother-in-law, Tom Allen, and sister- in-law, Darlene Jennings, along with several niece and nephews as well as many close friends.
He was preceded in his death by his parents, a brother Leon Jennings, and two sisters, Louise Hoskins and Judy Allen. Harold loved to golf after his retirement, enjoyed spending time with his family, and always had a camera wherever he went, never wanting to miss a chance to cherish a memory. Harold will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, April 24th at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 10am Wednesday, until service time. Burial will be held in Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Xenia Nazarene Church, 1204 W. Second St., Xenia, Ohio 45385 or to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420, in his memory. Condolences may be made to the family at www.NeeldFuneralHome.com
