Helen R. Hunt, 76, of Xenia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday evening, December 2, 2009, at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born December 31, 1932, in Adrian, Michigan, the daughter of Darwin and Helen Garrison Jersey. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Cedarville, and was a former board member of the Miami Valley Women's Center, Xenia. She is survived by her husband, Leigh R. Hunt, whom she married, June 28, 1952, a daughter and son-in-law, Laurie (Matt) Pollock, Cedarville, four sons and daughters-in-law, Richard (Michelle) Hunt, Dubuque, IA, Steven M. (Sue A.) Hunt, Xenia, Robert (Barbara) Hunt, Cedarville, and Randy (Sandy) Hunt, Leavenworth, KS, 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Emma Allison, Olympia, WA, Ruby Sheldon, Jackson Center, MI, and Marion (Matt) Piach, Homosassa, FL, a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne (Mary) Jersey, Asheville, NC, and by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 10am, Monday, December 7, 2009, at Grace Baptist Church, 109 N. Main St., Cedarville, with Pastor Craig Miller officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm Sunday at the church. Burial will be in North Cemetery, Cedarville.
