Obituary

Herman Albert "Bud" Adams, 95, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on November 8, 1928 in Brandt, Ohio to Leo & Francis Adams. Bud was a husband, father, grandfather and friend. Throughout his life, Bud touched the hearts of many with the kindness, wisdom and unwavering love. He had an amazing gift of problem solving and could fix almost anything you put in front of him. He was an entrepreneur and established Bud's Automotive in 1961 where he made significant contributions to the Xenia community. Bud had a passion for bowling where he received the name " Left Foot Bud"  due to having polio. He also bowled several 300 games. Bud also loved playing cards with his friends and family. Whether it was repairing cars, bowling, playing cards or sharing stories with his grandchildren. His warm smile and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by Craig & Tonya Adams Corey & Marcia Adams,Curtis and Stephanie Adams, 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Donna L Farquer on May 15, 2018, two sons Charles & Chris Adams and by grandchildren: Wendy, Craig Jr., Aaron and Liam Adams.  The legacy he left will live on forever. The family invites friends and loved ones to join them for a graveside memorial service on July 5, 2024 at 11 am-12pm at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Hub, P.O. Box 434 Xenia Ohio 45385 in Bud's memory. May Bud's soul rest in eternal peace.
