James R. Lorenzo, 91, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. He was born August 25, 1930, in Xenia, Ohio, the son of James Arthur and Etta B. McClanahan Lorenzo. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church, and retired from the Greene County Maintenance Garage.  He is survived by his children, Neil (Gerry) Lorenzo, Dallas, GA, Stephen (Belinda) Lorenzo, Lynchburg, Angela Lorenzo and Kathy Lorenzo, of Xenia, grandchildren, Shannon (Steve), Stephanie (Dale), Chelie (Brett), Ethan, Christine (Russ), Brandy, Heather (Jake), and Dustin, great-grandchildren, Taylor, Sydney, Peyton, Austin, Owen, Natalee, Henry, Jayden, and Keegan, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friend, including a special friend, Juanita Lorenzo. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Margaret J. (Smith) Lorenzo, on August 3, 2002, a daughter, Vicki Lynn Lorenzo, a grandson, Clayton, sister, Betty Jean Blair, and by two brothers, Ronald Lorenzo and Glendon Lorenzo. Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
