Jane Brannen, 90, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Elmcroft of Xenia. She was born January 3, 1927, in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of Clarence and Mary Goldie Kirkman Bryslan. She was a member of New Jasper United Methodist Church, and Xenia Church of Christ, and retired from Wright State University. She is survived by four children, Samalene Brannen, Cindy (Allen) Day, and Randy (Marcia) Brannen, all of Xenia, and Rhonda (Douglas) Neal, Carey, OH, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, John T. Brannen.  Services will be held at 11am, Friday, September 22, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. Chuck Forsythe officiating. Private burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
