Jeffrey Howard Wells, 65, of Dayton, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born October 1, 1949, in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Howard V. and Joyce Smith Wells. He is survived by a sister, P. J. Wells (Jack) Vaughn, Livermore, CA, a brother, George (Charlotte) Wells, and by a niece, Elizabeth (Daniel) Rhodes, all of Bellbrook, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jeff was a 1967 graduate of Fairview High School, and attended Antioch College. He attended Fairhaven Church, and had a deep Christian faith. He loved serving meals at various food pantries in the Dayton area. He also loved animals, and volunteered at various animal shelters. He was a fan of jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed spending time on his front porch talking with friends. Jeff will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
