Jo Ann Chubner, 94, formerly of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Bethany Village of Centerville. She was born March 18, 1932, in Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of Joseph and Berniece Cox Bowen. She is survived by two sons, James (Sandra) Chubner and Robert Chubner, grandchildren, Justin (Marissa) Chubner and Julie (Maegan) Chubner, great-grandchildren, Kayle Chubner, Owen Chubner, Logan Chubner, Avery Chubner, and Cooper Chubner, a great-great-granddaughter, Ariyah Lee, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James F. Chubner, in 2009, and by a daughter, Melissa Chubner. Jo Ann will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
