Joshua David Smith, 45, of Fairborn, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at Soin Medical Center. He was born August 23, 1972, in Kettering, Ohio. He is survived by his mother, Pamela (Jerry) Bottorff, Xenia, grandmothers, Betty South, Xenia, and Ruby Bottorff, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, aunts and uncles, Debbie (David) Coins, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Mark (Janet) South, Bellbrook, and Dan Bottorff, Xenia, cousins, Ashley (Kevin) Poeppelman, Ft. Loramie, Keri (Justin) Pack, Grove City, Eric Coins, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Bryan Coins, Jacksonville, FL, Courtney (Tony) DiGiorgi, Xenia, and Jeremy (Lori) Bottorff, Xenia, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William T. "Bill" South.  Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, January 31, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. John Lockwood officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Wednesday, until service time. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
