Kathryn Rose Garrett, 81, of Dayton, formerly of Parma, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024, at her residence. She was born May 11, 1943, in Cleveland, the daughter of Stephen and Catherine Redway. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, in Parma. She is survived by a daughter, Denise Garrett, Dayton, a son, Mark (Mary) Garrett, Deersville, OH, three grandchildren, Rachel (Jeff) Gallucci, North Olmstead, Thomas Funk, and Danielle Garrett, of Deersville, three great-grandchildren, Nick, Katie, and Dylan Gallucci, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Luther Dennis Garrett, on February 20, 2022, and by her brother, John Merk. Kathyrn was a kind and loving mother and grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
