Kenneth G. Hess, 73, formerly of Xenia, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Shawneespring of Harrison, Ohio. He was born February 8, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Fred C. and Mary Annabell Graham Hess. He was a former member of Faith Community United Methodist Church, the Greene County Historical Society, and was an enthusiast of the Whitewater Valley Railroad, Connersville, Indiana and the Miami Valley Railfans. He is survived by two sisters, Barbara Maxwell, Portland, OR, and Sue (Cliff) Robbins, Lawrenceburg, IN, a brother, Allen Hess (Elaine O'Neil-Hess), Bethlehem, PA, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his close companion, Maxine Hicks. Ken will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Private graveside services will be held in Bellbrook Cemetery. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greene County Historical Society, 74 W.
