Kenneth C. Penewit, 82, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Kettering Medical Center. He was born April 17, 1940, in Spring Valley, Ohio, the son of Kenneth M. "Pete" and Gladys Irene Hoffman Penewit. He was a 1958 graduate of Xenia High School, and retired from D P & L/Vectren Design, after 48 years employment. He was a member of the Xenia Township BZA from 1991-2000. He is survived by a daughter, Kristin Kehl, Waynesville, a sister, Ann (Les) VanDyne, a brother, Richard (Wanda) Penewit, of Xenia, by several cousins, nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara A. Penewit, a close companion, Ann LeSourd, and by a brother, Dennis Penewit. Kenny will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
