Linda S. (Rector) Atley, 61, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born July 7, 1954, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Henry and Mary E. Murrell Rector, Jr. She was a member of Victory Life Christian Center, and retired from the Greene County Auditor's office. She is survived by her husband, Clyde D. Atley, whom she married, July 10, 1976, two sons, Brandon (Tiffany) Atley and Bryan (Carol) Atley, three grandchildren, Bryce Atley, Blake Atley, and Tate Elizabeth Atley, a sister, Carol A. Rector, all of Xenia, a step-son, Billy Atley, of Jamestown, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. After retirement Linda enjoyed working with her sons at B & B Atley Farms and spent the remainder of her free time with her family, especially playing with her grandchildren. She was also looking forward to the arrival of a granddaughter, Madelyn, this month. Services will be held at 10am, Tuesday, December 15, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Pastor Dale Bolen officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
