Linda M. Baker, 78, of Xenia, passed away Friday, November 10th. She was born February 2, 1945, in Bellbrook, Ohio, the daughter of Harry G. and Goldie June McClanahan Sieber. She was a faithful member of the Spring Valley Global Methodist Church. Linda retired from Schuster Cardiology and was part of the Xenia Twp. Fire Department for 15 years. She served as a 4H advisor and had an avid love for horses. Through these endeavors, she developed many long-lasting friendships. She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Baker, whom she married on September 27, 1963, son Roger (Heidi) Baker, grandchildren, Cameron Baker, Bailey Baker, Lauren Baker, Chase Baker, and Abby Manning, sister Shirley Koogler, sister-in-law Nancy Baker, Tonya Hoskins, several nieces and nephews, and many close friends. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son Michael Baker, sister Sharon (Richard "Dutch") Camden, brother Jerry Sieber, and brothers-in-law Elwood Baker and Ralph Koogler. Special thanks to Luella Kincaid, Bobby and Debbie King, and John and Tina Blocher for whom she cherished their involvement in her life. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18th from 10:00am-12:00pm at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St. Xenia, with a short service to follow.
